1. Sponsor
This contest is sponsored by Haldimand County (also known as Tourism Haldimand or the “Sponsor”). This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any other organization.
2. Eligibility
The contest is open to legal residents of Canada and the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Haldimand County are not eligible to enter.
3. Contest Period
The contest begins on May 15th and ends on September 15, 2026.
4. How to Enter
Complete a visitor survey, either a printed card found at local businesses, or online, during the contest period (May 15 – September 15). Include your name and contact details to be entered. Completed printed cards can be left with the business and will be picked up by Haldimand County staff. Alternatively, you can complete the contest entry at the bottom of the online visitor survey. No purchase necessary. No completion of survey required.
5. Prizes
The adventure prize package is valued at $500. will include:
· One night's stay for 2 people at a local accommodation
· One experience for 2 people
· A dining gift certificate
· Haldimand swag
Prizes are awarded as is and may not be substituted, transferred, or redeemed for cash.
6. Contest Winner Selection
The winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entrants on September 21st.
7. Winner Notification
The selected winner will be contacted directly by phone or email. Haldimand County will never ask for payment, financial information, or credit card details to claim a prize.
To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must:
· Correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question 3+5+3-(6*1), and
· Respond to the message within 72 hours of notification.
If a selected entrant does not respond within the stated time, another entry may be drawn.
8. Giveaway Pickup or Delivery
The prize may be picked up at the Haldimand County offices in Cayuga, or if the winner is located outside the local area, courier arrangements can be made at no cost.
9. Use of Entries
Information collected through this feedback is used in aggregate to improve destination marketing and to help develop experiences and tourism assets for future visitors.
10. General Conditions
The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest at any time if circumstances beyond its control compromise the contest's integrity.
11. Privacy
Personal information collected will be used solely for the administration of this contest. No identifying or personal information will be retained, shared, or sold, and all contact information provided for contest entry will be securely destroyed after the contest.
