Go West
Walk in our dusty boots
Looking for a getaway that feels a world away from the traffic, crowds and concrete of the city? Go West to Haldimand this fall and discover wide-open countryside, winding country roads, big-sky views and the kind of down-home hospitality that makes you want to take your cowboy hat off and stay awhile.
From September 8th through October, Cowboy Culture comes to life across Haldimand County. Trade the city skyline for the horizon and spend some time chasing adrenaline, exploring rural roads, casting a line, raising a glass, and enjoying some seriously good country food.
Whether you're a cowboy at heart, a road warrior, an outdoor adventurer, or simply ready to breathe a little deeper, Haldimand is your place to Go West.
Round up the good times
Where the Road Meets the Range
Haldimand is made for the open-road kind of getaway. With rural roads stretching through farmland and forest, the Grand River winding through the countryside, and Lake Erie opening up to big-sky views, the journey is part of the adventure.
Point your vehicle west and make a day of it. Stop for a picture with Muddy, our 50’ mudcat statue, or hike the Grand Vista Trail in Cayuga, where panoramic views open up over the historic Grand River. Follow the roads toward the Lake Erie shoreline and discover small-town stops along the way.
Fast Cars, Wild Skies, and Big Horizons
Looking for something with a little more horsepower? Haldimand has plenty of ways to turn up the adrenaline.
Get behind the wheel—or watch the action—at Toronto Motorsports Park, where the track is made for speed, featuring their Exotic Dream Car Experience, F2000 Experience, and Drag Racing Experience.
Take to the skies with Near North Aviation for an aerial tour and see the countryside from a whole new perspective.
This isn't just country scenery. It's country with horsepower.
